What is considered child pornography in Michigan?

The age of consent in Michigan is 16. Does this mean that a nude picture of a female is no longer considered porography if she is 16 when the picture is taken? Or does the child porography status still apply up to age 17?

My question is, in Michigan, would a completely naked picture of a 17 year old female be considered child porography?

Would the person that distribute it face any penalties?

16 is the age of consent in Michigan under certain circumstances. Possessing pornography of a 16 year old is not one of them.

You are considered an adult at 17 in Michigan, so that would not be considered child pornography there. However, if you possessed those images in another state, you could be charged.
