See, i have lost my laptop which has a rental agreement with flexirent. I lost it at my local footy club only because i believe i left it there after a game even though im pretty sure that i brought it back with me. I recommend that you stay away from flexrent because i owe have a contract term till 2010 and i have to pay $209.00 a month till then and even after the term i would have to give the equipment back even after paying for it. this company has been on a current affair for ripping people off. I dont want to pay the rest of the term off without having a laptop. I do have insurance and they say i am covered for ACCIDENTAL LOSS???? I dont mind if i have to twist my story a bit just to get what i think is fair.

  1. OK, an accidental loss is when something happens to it - like fire, a car running over it, an elephant from the zoo escapes and tramples it.  An ACCIDENT happens to it.  You still have the item, it's just, well, burned, smashed or otherwise out of commission.

Leaving it behind is actually "voluntary parting", even if you didn't MEAN to leave it behind.

The REAL lesson in this is . . .don't rent, or lease, something.  Cash is king, debt is dumb.
