  2. Credit hours are effectively hour many hours per week you are in that class. It isn't exactly that same but it is the best way to look at it.

    So with saying that, a full-time student is considered to be one who is taking a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester and generally speaking a bachelor's degree is 120 credit hours and an associates is around 60-64 credit hours.

    Most classes are about 3 about credit hours. Most science and math classes are between 4-6 credit hours.

  3. Its the number of hours you receive for taking a class.  It's roughly equivalent to the amount of time you will spend in class (i.e., a 3 hour class means you will probably have 3 1-hour lectures during the week).
