crossed cheque is a cheque which is drawn in fovour of drawer and only he is eligible to credit in the bank. while making crossed cheque be careful that write "A/c Payee" and cancelled bearer. i dont know the types of crossed cheque.

crossed cheque: it is chaque, which can not be cashed at the counter, but which can be collected only y a bank from the drawer bank. Crossing may be of two types:

(A) general crossing

(B) special crossing

Crossed cheque is a negotiable instrument which restrict payment only to the beneficiary through his/her bank account. It prevents from any other person from encashing the proceeds mentioned therein.
