What is currently the average price of a gallon of gas at the pump nationally?

In the UK it is about £1.10p a litre or nearly $2 which would be about $10 for a US Gallon I guess. I have just been to turkey and there a Litre of unleaded is about 3 YTL which is £1.50p

...and you say that's too much... you know, you're living in a fuel paradise over there. Here in Europe taxes on fuel are much higher. At my local fuel station in Germany it's currently €1.40 per litre ($8.46 per gallon) and if I have enough time to cross the border to the Czech Republic, about 20 miles from here, I still pay €1.15 per litre ($6.96 per gallon).

I worked at Hess up until 3 days ago cuz I quit and the price for regular was $3.31 a gallon and I'm in staten Island NY
