  1. Nobody actually knows what dark matter is - it can't be seen or detected in any discernable way. But it's existence can be felt in it's gravitational effect on bodies of mass.

Gravity is not really a "magnetic force" pulling things together, it's actually a consequence of spacetime warping, which causes any body of mass (whether a planet or a human being) to become attracted to any other. It works on everything, everywhere.

  2. Gravity is the attraction of 1 mas to another...

  3. we don't know what dark matter is.

we know that galaxsees (including ours) behave as if there is a lot more matter in them than we can see. at the moment dark matter is a fudge factor to account for this. we know what sort of interactions it must have (or not have), bcuz we can't detect it, except by gravity. but we don't know exactly what it is.

  4. there is not scientific explanation as to what dark matter is. all we know it it is everything completely opposite of matter. should it collide with matter there would be no explosion there would be absolutely nothing at all. gravity is that thing that pulls you toward earth and pulls every planet toward our sun.

  5. It's called dark matter, mostly because we don't know what it is.  It was detected by it's gravitational influence on things we can see - stars, gas, etc.  So, we know it has mass.  We also know it interacts poorly, if at all, with normal matter.  We know it doesn't clump together easily by itself.  We think there is at least one unknown subatomic particle that must make it up.

Gravity is the attraction force that all matter feels from the influence of all other matter.  Beyond that, not much is known.  "It doesn't speak, but it commands attention."

  6. Dark Matter is material in the universe that doesn't interact with light and is therefore dark. The bulk of the matter in the universe is dark matter although what it is (and it could be several things not just one) is not clear.

Gravity on the other is still a bit of a mystery. Gravity is the effect of space-time being distorted by energy. Remember e=mcc, so matter is just really dense energy and so curves space-time a lot more than say a photon. But both do curve space but matter does it a lot more. - This is a relativistic approach.

Quantum mechanics struggles with gravity on a large scale.
