  1. there no light :)

  2. no light

  3. not knowing ourself and ignorance.

  4. Darkness in real sense is Ignorance. It is the rout cause of all evil in the world.

  5. The complete absence of light, which, at first, seems like a very boring answer. It does though, raise a very important issue: can you truly and accurately define anything without it's opposite as a comparative?

Could we define good without evil? or could someone be beautiful if there were no ugly people?

    I think probably not...

  6. Absence of light is darkness.

  7. The absence of light

  8. Non-existent.

Light is electromagnetic radiation and as such the cosmic back ground radiation permeates all of our known cosmos.

Darkness is merely a misunderstanding that results from a lack of empirical knowledge.

  9. Devoid of any visible spectrum of electromagnetic rays

Also barring someone completely about information of some incident is also called 'keeping in darkness'

  10. Full Control over ur senses, urself.

  11. What is the "true sense"?

You mean the absence of light (photons)?

Or maybe in a religious sense? to be without "God"

I would guess you mean the second, as many religious people are often given to vagueness.

  12. In external world darkness is known as 'absence of light and in our inner realm, it is absence of wisdom. The condition of a person in darkness in the external world can be compared to the mental condition of a person without wisdom. Hence, oriental philosophy has compared darkness with ignorance. There is a prayer in Vedic hymns, where, we are advised to pray almighty for lifting us from darkness to light.

  13. Fear of that which is unknown.  The absence of light.  Imagination creates horrors unfathomable in the dark....yet laughable and inane under the midday sun.  The Abyss.  That point past the Event Horizon where even light cannot escape. The total absence of Truth, Logic and Reason. h**l.  Good camouflage.  A Ninjitsu warriors ally. To a religious person - no forgiveness, quarter, mercy or redemption.  Absolute and total isolation.....

  14. Darkness is something that is always present everywhere.  It is omnipresent.  You do not need to bring in the darkness as it already exists there - as soon the light vanishes, it is already present there. But to drive away the darkness, you need to bring in the light but in the reverse case, you do not need to endevour to bring in the darkness.  Once you set yourself in the Darkness, you will not gropple for any anything as the very object  available in the darnkess is only DARKNESS  itself. While in the light, you find many objects and that tempts you to chase one after the other and eventually you end no where and by the time your whole life span is spent in futile chase.  While darkness conduces you to sit at one place and leads you to an  inward journey.  Afterall the ultimate pursuit of PEACE can be achieved only from the within.  I would like to end my view on this spiritual note.

  15. closed eyes is darkness...........doesnot matter that these eyes are optical or inner....,when ever v think about no vacansies..it means darkness..........

  16. darkness is what most every thing is , light is the minority. fewer thing's

show light  most everything is dark which is black and the lack of light.
