  1. Not much.  Consider this sentence, though:

    "interesting theory, Maxwell.  Let's test it with an experiment"

    to test is to prove or disprove

    the experiment is what you DO to test it.


  2. A test is an examination while an experiment is a scientific test.

    Therefore, all experiments are tests but not all tests are experiments.

  3. You test something when you know what the outcome should be.

    You experiment to find something out when you don't know the outcome (you may have an idea).

    In general usage a scientific test became known as an experiment but this is not really the correct meaning.

    Once you have found something out by experiment, you can then test it.
