  1. quality wise there is very little difference. the memory is the big difference. cd's have 700 mb, dvd's 4.7 GB. to put it in layman's terms it would take you almost 9 cd's to equal 1 dvd. if you're interested here's a conversion table site that may be of future help for you. http://www.unit-conversion.info/computer...


  2. CD is the Compact Disc which has normally a memory of around 700 MB on the other hand DVD is Digital Video Disc which has a huge memory of around 4.7 GB. So if you looking to save data A DVD is a very good option for you.
