I saw a "Black Psychology" book in my guidance counselors office. What would be so different about black people that they would have their own book?

  1. their skin is a little darker than others.

  2. edit: on second thought, cygnus below me has a point. We're all the same as far as psychology and anatomy, but black ppl can come from vastly different sociological backgrounds and enviornments that could affect their thinking.

  3. I'm black;;

    i think its probably cuz of what happened in the past and a lot of black people think differently about how situations are handled...they use color as an excuse to why things happen and the book probably explains why they use that as an excuse and try to help other people why they think differently

  4. I can imagine black's having a different psychology from whites simply because of the background of their race and HUGELY different sociology. I doubt it's racist. Nothing is different from whites and blacks then skin colour and, commonly, background (how they were raised).

  5. It's just some random jackasss trying to make money.

  6. all they did is studies of psychology on black people, its the same theories just with black people. Different races have some different qualities to life.

  7. Gosh that so dumb we're all the same we all have the same feelings
