  1. You live in a land where liberty and freedom dwell

  2. Liberty:autonomy: immunity from arbitrary exercise of authority: political independence.

freedom:the condition of being free; the power to act or speak or think without externally imposed restraints

  3. They basically mean the same thing - liberty comes from a Latin word that means "to free".

In English, possessives are formed by adding 's or _______ of _________.  So instead of "liberty land", it would be "land of liberty"; instead of "freedom land, it would be "land of freedom".

In describing a country, "liberty" is most often used because it carries the idea of freedoms that have been earned.  (That, and "land" and "liberty" both start with "l", so it tends to sound better.)  But honestly, either one could be used.
