What is different with rugby union and rugby league? Can a player easily convert from one to the other?

i find it funny how ignorant people say that leauge was created to create a more entertaing game. how could stopping the game every tackle make the game more flowing and exciting. it is an excuse for all the large people to get run ups to make hits and give the props a brake when they need it. rugby union takes the work of every player and tests true character. btw the games are pretty interchange able except rugby union takes more stamina. only differences are in rucks, mauls, lineouts, kicking and scrums. (where rugby union players actually push).

there almost the same except union positions are more important. you can easily convert to either one there are the same rules like passing back and knockon and all that

Rugby league came about when ppl wanted 2 see a faster, tougher more exciting brand of football. So over 100 years ago rugby league was born. Believe it or not, most nations play more Union instead of league because soft cok nations like South Africa and France  r 2 gutless to involve into a much better game
