  1. Dirt is worm c**p. Its as simple as that.

Listen to the song "Worms Make Dirt" by the Aquabats for more info. It explains the chipmunk in the middle of the earth, who makes pastrys with his easybake oven.

  2. Dirt is: any foul or filthy substance, as mud, grime, dust, or excrement. Dirt is made of rock. Small and larger pieces of rock mixed with decayed and decaying leaves, roots, dead bugs, etc. So to really understand where dirt comes from, we need to look at the processes that break the rock to make particles of sand and clay that we find in dirt or soil. Geologists refer to this breaking of the rock as weathering because moisture and temperature, key elements of weather, control the process. Their is actually not that much dirt compared to rock. If you want to really know go to the website. That website will tell you how small it is compared to other things.

Hope I answered your question good.

  3. It's made out of decayed plant and animal matter, along with pulverized rock and/or sand.  There's so much because an awful lot of plants and animals have died over the past several million years.

  4. Dust is made up of human dead skin.
