  1. Distilled water has been through a purification process where the water is either evaporated or turned into steam.  This causes most of the impurities of the water to be separated. Once the impurities are removed, it is then condensed back into liquid form.


  2. Distilled water is the water that has been collected from the water vapour that comes off boiling water. It is condensed steam, in other words.

    Because the water has been vapourised it has little or no solid materials dissolved in it.
