  1. Diversity is like inviting the whole world to take part in our lives a little at a time.  We need to know each other for so many reasons the some of the simplest being we like other products and foods and all that trade.

  2. Here are two reason why diversity should be encouraged in the workplace.

When people work together they become more familiar with one another.

Diversity offers different perspectives in problem solving.

  3. because corporations don't want to be sued for pregidous or biased pay.

  4. It's makes the gaps between races less and less =)

    It helps build racial tolerance

and so they don't get sued for discriminating for not hiring a certain race ;D

  5. Two wholly different definitions for your 2 questions. The first is simply a broad range of any given thing in a common sphere. The second is a horrific totalitarian game played on people to cause division in races.http://www.amren.com/ar/1997/07/index.ht...  http://www.academia.org/lectures/lind1.h...     ps it is not important in the workplace. It forces others to do the work of less-qualified people hired only based on race or gender to meet racial quotas.

  6. I dont know if it is important or good but in Australia the 15-20 % of the non-white population are not co-hesive enough as yet to form their own economy, and so if marginalised will be left to rot while everyone else whinges of "skill shortages"
