What is done durning a cat scan?

They place a cat under the scanner and mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeeeooooooooowwwww... it done.

Nah sorry its a tunnel like machine that you are put into on bed like frame and scans are done mainly on the head to see tissue and brain cells as such.

You lie down on the 'table' type thing, they might put something around the area to stop it moving. The table with move through the machine and the radiographers will look at the images on a computer outside. It might be noisy im not sure, i know MRI's are.
