  1. I'm afraid not, it means that if there are 2 people in the cabin, it is $459 each.

If there is one person in the cabin it's $818.

Cruise line cabins are priced on 2 people per cabin. If you have 4 people in a cabin, 3+4 get a reduced rate which if you split the total between the 4 makes the cruise slightly cheaper.

  2. Rates are per person, based on double occupancy.

meaning you pay for the first 2 at this price and there are some rooms that can have 4 and the second 2 are less than the price of the first.

  3. That means it is $459 per person. 3rd and 4th guests in your cabin (if you take any) will go cheaper. Also keep in mind that if you travel alone, you must pay the fare of two!

  4. Read the information closely. Typically it says something like, "$459 per person - double occupancy". In other words $818 for the couple. If you are not sure call the company.

  5. Double occupancy

Rates are per person, based on double occupancy; cruise only, does not include alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages or all taxes and fuel surcharges. Rates are never guaranteed unil you have made a deposit.

  6. That's 2 people in a room. If it's advertised as $459.00 pp/double occupancy, that means you each pay the $459.00. The posted price is pretty basic. You need to add taxes and ground transportation to that. Also on board, your Sea Pass or Sail and Sign card is also your room key. You use it on board to buy beer and tee shirts and the like. It's a good idea to review your account at the purser's desk periodically to make sure you're not over spending.
