What is double-spaced?

I need to type an essay with double-spaced but I don't know what double spaced is.

I went on google and tried to look up but I have no idea.

No, double spaced means there is an extra space between lines.

Here is an example of single-spaced:

afjea;jfeia;jfei;ajei;ajfea;fje

fjea;fjea;fjeia;fjea;ea

And here's double-spaced:

fjkla;fjekl;afjeka;eafefja;

gnrafnjaklf;ragra

On your word processor, there should be a button you can click for automatic double-spacing.  If you can't find it...go to Format, Paragraph, Spacing, and it should be there.

thats were you hit the space bar 2 times instead of 1. see this is what they mean....

this  is  an  essay  about  .....  my  name  is  .....  ........  like  that.  i  think  double  spacing  is  stupid.  but  this  is  what  it  looks  like.
