  1. The SAT has more trickier questions than the ACT

but the ACT is more time limited than the SAT

The Science passage in the ACT is more like a reading test except it is all science related.

  2. If you're mathematically inclined, take the ACT. I did so and was able to achieve a 33 (out of 36) quite easily.

    Here are my SAT scores:

    1st attempt - 1920.

    2nd attempt - 2130.

    Here is my ACT score:

    1st attempt - 33.

I am much more mathematically inclined (I like working with numbers, not logic), and I found the ACT to be pretty easy. The math is straightforward, and the test makers do NOT try to trick you (unlike on the SAT). On the ACT, the test makers want to see if you can answer a math problem (they don't give you any formulas); on the SAT, the test makers want to see if you can answer a simple math problem in an abstract way (they give you all of the formulas).

As I mentioned before, I hate working with logic. I truly hate it. That's why I found the SAT to be more difficult. On the ACT, everything is straightforward - "Here is a problem, solve it". There are no curve balls or anything else that is made to trick you. Take the ACT.

  3. For me the SAT was easier, but it sounds like the ACT would be easier for you.
