What is ebay's cut on a sale?

I want to sell stuff on ebay, but how much percent do the take of of your sale when you sell??

And when you buy???

There is no "cut" from buying.  The fee is paid by the seller only.  And it all depends on how much the item sold for and whether it was sold via a bid or a "buy it now" transaction.

There are various fees paid by the seller.. Final Value Fees (FVF), listing fees etc...  Most of the fees are based on the price your item sells for;  If you are accepting payments through paypal they also have fees...  Here is an eBay fee chart which includes Paypal's cut also..
