  1. In the world of publishing, "copy" is the written or printed word.

Electronic copy is simply a file (.doc or .txt for example) which contains text.

  2. They want your Curriculum Vitae (for those who don't know, this is what we Americans would call a Resume) in computer readable form.

If they say this, you should ask just what format they'd like. Many companies not only request it in electronic form, but they want it in a specific format, with the items listed in a certain order so that it can be computer analyzed or dropped into a spreadsheet.

An 'electronic copy' usually does not have formatting to make it visually appealing.

    Good luck.

  3. I don't know what a CV is but an electronic copy is an electronic version of something.  Say you have a research paper that is due, the teacher wants you to e-mail her the word document or a pdf version of it.  A table is due, she probably wants an Excel spread sheet.  Etc...

  4. an electric copy is something stored on a computer or similar storage device ie. usb pen drive, or cd, or on the computers hard drive

  5. Electronic BillPay allows customers (cable television, Internet, phone or other services) to view their current billing statements or account history/status online, and/or to pay their account(s) online through either electronic funds transfers from their savings or checking accounts or through their debit cards, or by charging their credit card account.
