  1. I did some research about this a couple years back.  There was very little to look up.

    There were some categories of chemicals called "environmental estrogens " and  "xenoestrogens."

    Once place I read suggested that this could be entering the environment through wastewater filtrate, which does not clear all chemicals from the water before re-entrance to surface water.

    I mean, chemicals that result from birth control metabolites in urine and pesticides that affect the growth cycle of insects in water run-off.

    They have been linked to increase breast cancer in women and men.
