It depends what the actual epidemic is!!!! An epidemic is not one particular thing, it could be a number of deadly viruses and illnesses! It occurs when there is an outbreak of something that cannot be controlled.

a epidemic pretty much has no prevention for desease look at the black plague, the spanish flu, sars..

the causes could be unclassified as in no one knows or they could be just one of those freak things that happen from a result.. there could be many causes for the black plague but no one cause was speculated and the basic prevention was burning the body which helped stopped the black plague was the london fires way back when..

What Is Encephalitis?
