What is ev training for pokemon

a pokemon can have 510 evs total

255 in each stat (if u ev train put 252 in tho 252-255 all go 2 63)

say u fight a geodude, u will get 1 defense ev and you will get more defense as u level up by a little

so  to ev train u have 2 fight lota of a certain thing for a certain stat

it helps alot if u dont understand go 2 psypokes they have a really good explanation
