  1. Hi,

Okay there are a LOT of things you need for a horse!  I will try to make a list for you to collaborate with your own.

    Lets see you will need:

    Gear:

    A halter that fits

    A lead rope

    A hoof Pick

    Saddle Pad

    A cinch

    A rear cinch

    saddle

    bit

    bridle

    reins

    chin strap

helmet *only if you want one.* (no one give me thumbs down for this but I never wear one!)

    Brushes:

    curry comb

    soft brush

    hard brush

Hair Brush for her/his mane and tails *I find that human brushes work better.*

    Food:

Hay for a certain pre-calculated amount of time

Grain only if you want to feed him/her grain

    Health care items:

    Fly spray

    fly mask

some sort of wound cream, (ie: Corona or Wound Duster incase he/she gets a cut)

    Shampoo

    Conditioner

First aid kit would be a good idea!

Butte(spelling!!) *pain reliever like advil for horses*

    Wormer

Shots (maybe have your vet help you on this one!)

Wonder Duster (good if your horse gets proud flesh or a cut to prevent proud flesh.)

    Misc.

water bucket if one is not supplied

shavings for the stall if they are not supplied

a pitch fork for picking up p**p if one is not supplied

wheelbarrow (if one is not supplied.)

Hope I Helped and good luck!

If I think of anything else I will put it on here! :-)

    Lol...

Overwhelming?  Is this your first horse? Don't forget to pick up soem fly spray as well as wormer.

I have recently tried this type and actually I like it!  It is nice because it keeps a lot more insects than just fly's away! Which is really nice!  It is also all NATURAL!
