  1. It would help if you said where you are moving from to help me give you a comparison..but I'm a Dub, (born bred and buttered as they say...LOL)  Its the capital of Ireland and in respect is like most major cities I have been to, except smaller, considering its the capital.

Housing is expensive, traffic is bad, shopping is good, pubs are great, and you have fabulous country side on your door step.  Always something going on.  People are friendly and relaxed, and it seems everyone from the age of 6 upwards has an opinion. Like every city it has its problems but I have lived abroad before and wouldn't leave Dublin again.

EDIT: just read your name French Spaniard, I guess I should take that as a clue, so Ireland is a bit like Spain with its strong family values, just c**p weather. And our food is rubbish compared to France, I work with some French & Spanish people and they seem to like it here.

  2. the girl on top is right, the weather is kind of bad but the people are great! there are plenty of schools and hospitals near by. the roads are good and there are a lot of shops too. there are parks and clubs and lots to do!! <-- hahaa that rhymes!! lmao ...
