What is everyones advice on highschool?

Is high school fun, or is it something I should dread? I'm going to be a freshman this year, and was wondering what the best way to act is. Should you try and stand out or fit in?

See, i'm starting highschool too.. Don't try to "go with the flow" That's usually bad stuff like smoking or anything 'cuz highschool has a lot of people and stuff so join something that you are don't try to fake who you are.

Standing out is good and bad.

Good standing out is Not approve being bullied, Wearing whatever u want "I tried wearing a red and a black converse at the same time" and just be yourself and high school will be fine.

you should just be yourself and don't worry about fitting in.  And don't worry about what anyone thinks.  No matter what you do, it's not going to change the way people think about you.  And don't worry about people who only want to be mean to you and bring you down.  Those are the people who you will be laughing at when you attend your 10 year reunion. Join lots of clubs and organizations.  Volunteer.  Get involved with your community, and school.  Keep your grades looking good.  Do all that, and you will have your pick of what college you want to attend.

Over everything else, don't worry about it!  High School is only four years out of your life, and if they are the best years of your life, then you did something wrong.

The best that u can do is be ur self. You'll gain new friends and try new things. Who cares if u fit in or not. Highschool is going to be the best expirence of ur life. I am a junior this year and I can still remember my first day. JUst walk in like u own the place. Keep ur head high. Don't freak out because that is the worst thing that u can do. Relax and look forward to seeing ur friends or really cute boys. For things like bulllying highschool is a little bit more stricter on that and it's considered hazing which people can get suspened for. Last year @ my school we had 15 people suspedned for acts against Freshies so forget eattting lunch in the dumpster. : ) Good LUck Freshie. : )
