When I was about 8 and it was really icy out and I had to walk to the bus stop which was like a block away and I was afraid to walk on the side walk and I was afraid to walk in the street and I was standing there crying and begging not to go and the bus was waiting on me and my mom was yelling at me so finally my mom put on her ugly brown snow boots and came out in her ugly ratty purple velour bathrobe and her curlers and marched me down in front of everyone!  It was terrible everyone was laughing and making fun of me!

That or the time this really awful teacher named Mrs. Mcammon yelled at me in front of the whole class because I spelled really badly in the 5th grade she told me I was the worst speller ever and then she ripped up my paper and threw it on the ground.  I got on the pay phone and called my mom and like 5 minutes later there she was with curlers in her hair--luckily no bathrobe ripping the teacher a new one in front of the whole class!  That was so embarrassing!  I hate it when teachers say "just spell it like it sounds sweetie" and then yell at you when you do!
