What is eye primer (and how expensive is it)?

I feel stupid asking this, but I never wear makeup and I just started. Is it like a Shadestick?

Its a product you put on your eyes before your eye makeup so it stays longer and so it wears better....I use Urban Decay its like 16 bucks but I am sure there are cheaper ones...

You can prime your eyes by just putting foundation on them or use an actual eye primer which makes the eye makeup really stick to your eye. I use urban decay primer potion that is supposed to be the best on the market and it was $20 from ulta. It really works... too well actually for me, I have trouble taking it off.

It is a base that you put on your eyes b4 applying ur makeup and it keeps it in place till you wash it off.

eye primer i belive is a base

it makes the eyeshadow last and lets the colors stay vibrant on your eyes

Umm, no it's like glue. For your eyeshadow. Also it makes your eyeshadow more pigmented and last longer. The one from Urban Decay is 20 bucks and there's one for 8 from L'oreal.
