  1. Technically, it is a form of matter, ionic in mixture...

  2.   Well it's a state of matter such that the combing of two chemicals produces enough heat to be visible, produce fire.

I guess the radiation itself would not be matter.

  3. You can see fire because as the fire heats up its fuel, the electrons in the fuel particles spontaneously move to higher energy subshells. When the electrons move back down to their original shells the extra energy is given off in the form of light. So fire is just made up of incandescent gases.

  4. Fire is the heat and light energy released during a chemical reaction, in particular a combustion reaction. Depending on the substances alight, and any impurities within, the color of the flame and the fire's intensity might vary.

  5. fire is nothing , but it is the energy released when two elements react togheter ,the energy is in form of heat , light and sound know as fire ...

fire is the reaction b/w a combustible product and oxygen ,as both react new chemical bonds are formed b/w two substance which results in release of energy ........

  6. Fire is a natural element. :-)

  7. Fire is burning that roduces light or heat. It's not matter.
