  1. GAS!!! OMG AS IF U DIDNT KNOW THAT!!

  2. it is a plasma. oxygen is needed to start the reaction of fire.

  3. Fire is actually a fourth element.

    Known as plasma.

    see this link:http://www.unexplained-mysteries.com/for...

  4. It is every thing that can bet on fire

  5. Fire consists of reacting gases and solids emitting visible and infrared light, the frequency spectrum of which depends on the chemical composition of the burning elements and intermediate reaction products.

    Hope this helps!

  6. None of the above, it's the visual effect that results from material being it solid, liquid or gas reaching a temperature that cause it to burst into flame and maintain that temperature in order to sustain the process, until the material is completely consumed.

The ignition temperature is higher for a solid then for a gas with liquid lying in between. That is you need more heat to raise the temperature of solid fuel than you need for gas.

  7. i dink izz gazz

i meks summ en mye buttt

  8. It's a gas.  Oxidation of a material that gives off an exothermic reation and some of the energy is emitted as light.

  9. Yes, it is plasma, the fourth state of matter.

  10. fire is a mixture of many kinds of gases. however, fire is neither a solid fas or liquid. it is another state of matter: plasma.

  11. none of those

The ancient Greeks and alchemists thought that fire was an element. They also considered earth, air, and water to be elements. However, the modern definition of an element defines it by the number of protons a pure substance possesses. Fire is made up of many different substances, so it is not an element.

For the most part, fire is a mixture of hot gases. Flames are the result of a chemical reaction, primarily between oxygen in air and a fuel, such as wood or propane. In addition to other products, the reaction produces carbon dioxide, steam, light, and heat. If the flame is hot enough, the gases are ionized and become yet another state of matter: plasma.

  12. Fire :

Fire is the heat and light energy released during a chemical reaction, in particular a combustion reaction. Depending on the substances alight, and any impurities within, the color of the flame and the fire intensity might vary.

  13. Since all matter is made up of earth, air, fire, and water, I don't quite understand your question.
