  5. It is used as an oil to turn your head into a ballon and allows you to hit a but load of homeruns.

  6. Flax seed is the seed part of the flax plant. The seeds contain oils that are high in omega 3 fatty acids, which have many health benifits. Flax seed can be found in capsule form, liquid or powder. The capsules are usually made from gelatine, so they aren't vegan. In powdered form you can lose some of the benifits. I would chose the oil form, if you mix a small spoon into a smoothie or cereal you won't even notice it.

  7. Flax seed is a grain seed that, when pressed, produces an oil that is used to protect wood and to thin paint.

  8. Actually wahoo is right. Flaxseed/linseed is one of the components of linoleum. It also is edible, although not very palatable, which is why it's sold in pills. The fatty acids are high unstable and easily oxidized, so it must be stored in the freezer (seed, powder or oil).

  9. I just found out I have high triglycerides and I bought flaxseed pills (a gel cap) and also some milled flaxseed that you can put in with food.  Supposed to be good for a lot of stuff.  Lots of Omega-3 oil/fat...  anyhow, I am taking it and hoping it will lower my triglycerides so I won't have to go on meds.
