honestly your guess is as good as mine....

it seems like he is in denial....he doesnt think Toronto is in the need for rebuilding when they probably need a Tampa Bay-esq makeover more than any other team (including Tampa). Instead he tries to make small changes and adjustments when in the long run it only hurts.....

I think this could have been a good deal for wayyyy less money. If it wasn't a $14 million deal I for 4 years I wouldn't be b*tching so much. In Fletcher we must trust though.

just trust fletch man, he has more experience and knowledge than any of us..that's why he was hired.

he was the one who brought in sundin..so let's just trust him.

I think the Finger deal will work out well. Jeff Finger is a really good, really underrated defenseman, imho. I kinda wish the Avs could've found a way to keep him, but since they didn't, I'm wishing him well with his new team.

Wow, i totally mis read Finger's new deal. At the price the Leafes are paying, he'll have a hard time living up to it, i think.

Taking ice time away from McCabe is never a bad thing. The way it was going I figured they were sure to have Tavares locked up by Christmas. With Finger and Hagman replacing Tucker and Wellwood it may take a bit longer. Cujo is replacing Raycroft.
