  1. women are forbidden to marry 4 like guys, while most of them forbidden  to travel alone, to go out alone, to deal with foreigners, to drive a taxi, to pilot a plane, to go to night clubs.

    edit:

when i say forbidden my talk include both law and traditions, not just law, beside women are banned to marry 4 all around the globe while guys allowed to marry 4 ONLY IN EGYPT.

  2. 1.women are not alowed 2 marry more than 1 person only men are allowed 2 marry up 2 four.

2.women must not have any fun before marriage they have 2 b married first.

3.women shouldn't drink alcohol like:beer or wine. They could get arrested because of that.

  3. s*x is forbidden but i can assure you it happens alot...i have many egyptian friends, both male and female, and while it is not talked about or bragged about, I can tell you it defiitnly happens...

egyptians also drink alcohol too and they smoke more hash then anyone on the planet...

Of course not all do this, but for those people that say it doesnt happen , that is not true, it happens alot.

  4. a woman is not allowed to have sexual activities whatsoever with anyone except her husband .

this applies in Egypt and all the Islamic world .

females can drive motor cycles in Egypt .

they can have fun, travel alone , go out at night , go to a night club , fly a plane , drive a taxi , etc

these activities are not against the law .

of course a woman cannot marry more than one man in Egypt or any other place in the world .

  5. No sexual relations before marriage and that goes for men too

  6. Fun.

  7. Sure s*x before marriage is forbidden for women in Egypt. I have even heard that the bride on her wedding night must prove she is a virgin by producing 'blood' as losing her virginity! However, some girls do have sexual fun before marriage. Many boys do too, but both guys and gals do it in secret.

It is also forbidden for Egyptians to drink alcohol  - but some do this (again in secret).

Also Egyptian wives who are veiled are forbidden to let males see their hair, and when men who are not close members of the family come to their homes they have to be wearing their veil.

Egyptian wives are also supposed to 'obey' their husbands, and seemingly some husbands forbid their wife to go out alone, she must be accompanied by another member of the family. Also the wife is supposed to ask permission to go out from her husband.

Of course all this happens in degrees, people are different.

But I am sure that the Egyptian wife can stand up for herself!!

  8. ha ha ha .. :)‎

The majority of women in Egypt are "only" forbidden to be themselves!‎

Although they are definitely better than men in there, yet they teach them twisted ‎stories to feel harassed unequal beings!‎

the reason that they grow more debating‎ than objective!

Its a man's problem! As a father, brother, husband, teacher, next door, bus driver, ‎salesman, a passing stranger, or even someone behind the internet screen! ‎

women in Egypt not realized that yet!‎

  9. urinating in the street?

  10. the issues raised by soem peopel liek women cant have fun out of marriage meaning "s*x" and this is applicable for both men and women. so its forbidden for  aman to have "fun" out of marriage.

but then again mubarak is not very islamic so how can he enforce islamic rule or laws into egypt look at him he married a non-muslim he is commiting the biggest haraam.

    ma salaama

  11. The stuff forbidden in Egypt go equally for men and women (i.e, premarital s*x, alcohol, pork, public display of affection, etc).

Also, it is not forbidden, but "socially unacceptable" to dress 'revealingly'.

{P.S.} The whole up-to-4-wives issue stems from Islamic laws, and they usually are not allowed unless the first wife agrees to it. It also only happens in certain cases, like when there's a woman who needs shelter, or something of the sort, and he wants to give her protection and all that.

    Usually it's not a preferred thing to do, 'cause Islam allowed this on condition the man will be fair to all women, love them and treat them all equally. As that's not always possible, it is, like i said, an unusual action. {P.S.}

  12. Driving a motorbike instead of a car! Not by law but whoever dares to get one and drive it in the streets of Cairo is a heroine in my book!
