  1. Free trade agreements are the circulation of trade without tarrifs. Although in many cases, they do end up being unfair, some free trade agreements are good.

An example is the ASEAN Free Trade Agreement (AFTA). AFTA makes it possible for various southeast Asian nations to trade with each other tarrif free. This helps smaller nations such as Singapore and Brunei get the raw materials they need to produce goods for export. It also helps nations with little ability to manufacture goods, such as Thailand, get manufactured goods for export and domestic use.

This trade agreement also helps southeast Asian economies, who were dependent on the US for decades after World War II, to diversify their trade partners. This is especially important because of the dropping value of the American dollar and the faltering American economy.

AFTA sets up mutual benefits to all parties, but not all free trade agreements do.

  2. Free Trade Agreement is a broad term. It abolishes tariffs and non-tariff barriers from one country to the next. Research, NAFTA, FTAA, Mercosur, ASEAN and the EU. All free trade agreements. They will vary from region to region.

This is also called a Trade bloc. There will be no taxes inside the blockade but outside sources will still have to pay taxes to import their goods to the country.

  3. Free trade agreements is an item of the NWO agenda for globalization.

It does not help anything to the masses. Only helps the big corporations and corrupted governments.

    My 2 cents.

  4. I disagree with NAFTA, this destoys third world countries, and the natural resources are taken away with no benefits to the ppl that live in that area, The Zapatista movement is against this treaty 100%. Yes it benefits big corporations, but i doesn't help the ppl that's why we have so much immigration to the states, corporations f ppl over, and turn around and wash their hands. F Neoliberalisim

  5. The free trade agreement means that all countries will not impose duties on imports to their countries from other countries.  Except the USA, of course....
