What is fresh seminar about?

I am going to 9th. and on my schedule i have Fresh. Seminar i've never seen it.. and i want to find out more about it...

It could be one of several things (that I can think of), or a combination of any of these:

1. They will give you an overview of the rules of your high school.   You will learn about acceptable behaviors and unacceptable behaviors.

2. They will tell you about procedures.  What to do when the 'bell' rings, how long you have to get to classes, what to do when you are tardy, what to do when you get sick, what to do when... etc. etc.

3. They might tell you about harrassment based on s*x, race, gender, nationality, orientation, etc.

4. They might tell you about graduation requirements in the 4 years ahead -- which classes you will need, which classes you can take as electives, etc.

5. They might have a pep rally for your sports teams

Is this Seminar one-time only, or is is a class that lasts all semester long?  If it lasts all semester long, then I am not quite sure what they will do.  If it is only a 1 or 2 hour thing (or even all afternoon) then it will probably be items 1-5 and perhaps a bit more.

If it's a one-time deal, there won't be any test or quiz but you should still pay attention, because you need to know this stuff all 4 years.  If it is all semester long, then you'll have quizzes and tests on whatever they are teaching.
