well at my school its when all the freshman meet at the high school they are going to and get to know each other. you do activities, look at the school. this usually happens a few days before school starts.

Freshmen orientation is different at like every school. Basically you learn what is to be expected of you, your class's, assignments, and getting to meet new people as well as your teachers. Trust me freshmen orientation isn't that bad. You will enjoy it.
