  1. An HDTV has a digital tuner built in. An HD ready TV lacks a digital tuner, but has inputs for you to use an outboard tuner. Hopefully it has HDMI inputs. Also, if buying a new TV, make sure it has a QAM tuner. HDTV on cable systems is different than receiving it with a roof antenna.

  2. FULL HD has a display panel that is TRUE 1080....1920 pixels wide by 1080 pixels tall.....

Now HD ready is used to describe whether or not it has an HD TUNER built into it, or if you need to use an HD Cable or Satellite box.....

HD Ready means you need the HD box to get HD pictures.....

  3. Full HD is 1080p.  It is the highest quality of display you can get on a TV set right now.  HD ready TV's need a HD tuner (satellite, cable, etc) to get Hi Def signals

  4. The physical diference is Full Hd tvs have smaller pixels and more definition than just hd
