What is fun to do in Jacksonville, FL?

we are going to go to Jacksonville today, we are currently on Amelia Island, and we dont know what to do! Does anyone know if there are any like family-friendly things to do? Like an aquarium or something indoors, because i think its going to rain. Thanks!

Welcome to Jacksonville. Unfortunately there isn't a lot of things to do, or too many choices.   So we always actually go out of town.  It's too bad, but there really isn't much to do.   The zoo is tiny.  Adventure Landing?  Waaaay to crowded.   Actually St. Augustine has more interesting things.

MOSH (museum of science and history) on downtown Southbank or Adventure Island water park out Beach blvd a few blocks from the beach (as long as it doesnt thunder, you're wet anyway so rain no big deal). Of course, there's always the usual suspects for rainy-day fun: malls, movies, etc.

you could go see moma mia or the black knight or something in the theater and then go out for lunch or dinner
