What is getting wet?

Question

I have a CB750F2 Honda and when it rains the motor wants to cut out. I have wrapped the headlight with plastic, covered the spark plugs,wrapped the electricals in the sidecover with plastic. It will stop ,but I can start it straight up again,sometimes I have crank it over a bit but it will always start. It generally takes approx 10 killometers of rain before this happens.

check the coil packs and the spark plug maybe its like that when its wet or maybe its just cold thats what my dirt bike does when its cold i have to kick start its like 6 times to start and its only 1 years old

Ignition coils must be getting wet, check for cracks and bake sure rubber insulators are tight.

have a look at the coil paks, if they are the porous type the will suck in moisture from the air aswell as direct water contact.

All it takes is just a little moisture to get on the air filter
