  1. were starting with cuting out green house gas emissions from cars next is industry and coal burning power plants

  2. For whatever reasons, politics aside, heat is being trapped in the atmosphere, ocean temps are affecting weather, and there may be nothing man can do but postpone it

  3. Global warming is a fad.  It is pseudo-science and propoganda.  Want to learn about global warming? Watch the Goracle's documentary: An Inconvenient Truth.  The whole movie is about Al Gore.  Its disturbingly personal.  He also invokes the emotional response of 9/11, the atomic bomb, SARS, Ebola, tobacco, children getting hit by cars, and drowning polar bears to sell you on the idea that Global Warming is the worst kind of evil.  He compares and makes links to every one of the previous things.  His claims are outlandish.  His charts are misleading, and the information is intentionally deceitful.  All of the information he presents is in a typical propoganda style.  For these reasons, I am highly skeptical of the global warming "crisis".  If the globe really is warming, it could be because of any number of things, not neccessarily CO2 emissions.   (CO2 make up only 4% of greenhouse gases, and 30% of CO2 comes from forest fires, which occur as a part of a natural cycle in a healthy ecosystem)

I dont want to believe in global warming for several reasons.  The movie that really launched the widespread hysteria is pure propoganda.  The man who made the movie that launched the hysteria uses 20x the national average of electricity.  He does this in the nation with the highest level of electricity usage.   "Who is without sin should cast the first stone"

The carbon-offsets that he claims makes up for this hypocrisy come from a company that he cofounded, and that he doesnt pay for.  Its a perk for being an employee, like free parking.

He doesnt have to sacrifice at all while he encourages everyone else to live like cavemen.  To go back to a time before the industrial revolution, to a time when we didnt have washing machines, or computers, or cars.  Ride your bike to work, and air your laundry on a clothesline, while Gore more than makes up the difference with his lavish lifestyle.   The whole thing is a joke.

  4. the answer is 7 .....  NO... WAIT WAIT.... the answer is 8

  5. Some gases ("greenhouse gases") let sunlight in, which warms the Earth, and then block that heat from leaving. That's the "greenhouse effect", and it's a natural thing, mostly caused by water vapor.

Man is making excessive amounts of greenhouse gases, mostly by burning fossil fuels. That causes the delicate natural balance to go out of whack and the Earth warms. That's global warming.

It won't be a Hollywood style disaster. Gradually coastal areas will flood and agriculture will be damaged. But it will be very bad. Rich countries will cope, but it will take huge amounts of money. In poor countries many people will die of starvation, but not all of them.

Most scientists say, in 20-50 years. But we need to start right now to fix it, fixing it will take even longer than that.
