There are effectively two types of god, the real one, with whom we speak at our demise, and those created by religion, to generate fear and allow control to be exercised over us lowly humans.  The real god, looks at our actions in life and determines our fate.  The religious gods, who are all made up, keep human societies divided, create hatred, warfare, suffering and hardship while endlessly preaching love and kindness.  The world is actually quite insane.

You could say that God is everything. But, that requires too much association. When you say that, you have to think of every flower, person, thing... too much thinking. And eventually, when you get down to it, you've got the smallest parts of everything. You've got molecules, atoms, particles. All apparently God and, using that philosophy, God is absolutely nothing. We never see it and hardly ever recognize its existence in everything we see, but its constantly there, part of us, part of everything we touch. So, when you think about it, God is nothing. But when you think down to the tiniest particle imaginable... God is everything.

If God exists then he is natural. But he cannot have been the creator of all things. If God was at one time the only thing that existed, then God did not create existence.

But because he cannot be easily explained, he is called "super" natural so there can be an excuse for not knowing what God is, or how he came to be, or how he did what he did.

Because he is "super" natural, he CAN be anything and all things to all people who believe in him.
