This is getting beyond absurd. The Gov DOES NOT need to make decisions for me, nor should it you.

I don't, but if I wanted to smoke, as long as I don't blow it in your face or litter, well then I should be able to smoke.

If I wanna eat a triple patty at Burger King....then let me.

I think we all know that smoking and over eating is bad for you. What the government needs to be doing is better educating. They need to redo the abused welfare program.

A liberals way of thinking does not belong in America.

  1. The ban on Fast Food places is ridiculous in my opinion.   I sure don't want my City Council making those kinds of decisions.

In fact, my City Council is preventing Starbucks from opening a new store because Starbucks is only building ones with drive-thru windows and my City Council is opposed to that.  So, guess what... everyone drives to the next city over to get their Starbucks.

And it appears that some of the City Council members won't be re-elected this year.

  2. very interesting....I agree the government has no place telling us how to live, but look at it from their side...someone has to foot the bill for the sick old people that didn't take care of themselves when they were younger.  And that someone most of the time ends up being the government.  I'm not saying they are right, I just see where they are coming from is all.

  3. It is sick and horrible that the government is getting control on everything.  Just wait it's gonna get worse!  When Obama gets elected he's going to sign for one world Government and there goes all of our freedom.  We will be linked with the Chineese who have to check in their stomach measurements at the local health department.  If their waist line extends the legal limits, they are fined, or even jailed.  Also Countries who are involved in this have to hold their christian church meetings in underground basements like their smuggling alcohol or something.Isn't this sick!  Government takes out any freedom we have. Welcome to the New world order!

  4. Don't worry..I am a bit more pragmatic about this issue.  If you go to So. Central LA you will not have a problem finding any fastfood joint you want.  In fact, you will not have a problem finding any brand of booze you like.  The only things in these hoods are liquor stores and fast food.  Try to find grocery stores or drug stores.  ( not your corner that has all the heroin, crack, or all weed you could ever want )  If you don't live in that hood, don't whine about your rights..You can get any food you want there now..Are you going to drive down to So. Central for a fast food fix?  I doubt it.  This proprosal was made by the rep for that area..He was voted in by the people who live there.  That is America.  Where do you live?  In some cozy whitebread community in the OC?  The people voted their voice in, who are you to question the choice of the voters in that district?  Move to So. Central and make your voice heard.

  5. Ban on fast food? That's dumb. That's all us college can get these days. I agree with the smoking but I can't agree with the ban on fast-food. Sorry.

  6. i completely agree with you.

the government has no place to tell us what we can and cannot eat.

if we want to eat fast food and get fat, let us. it's our problem.

if we want to smoke in a public bar, let me.

big deal. im so sick of the government making more and more decisions each day.

i wish this was a libertarian country.
