this is so silly! there have been so many upsets!!

all the players expected to go further have been eliminated such as sharapova, roddick, blake, davydenko, and djokovic!! are all OUT!!

what is this?!? this is crazy! what's going on?? what do you think?

i think a lot of the top players got too nervous and didn't let their best tennis show

this is reality... life isn't fair. i think that these people that lose have legit reasons to their upsets. their opponents were also just better than them. ppl have bad days we all our human and we have errors.

It is kinda crazy but outside the top 3 in mens' tennis the rating mean little.

I mean davydenko is c**p at #4 spesh on grass - Roddick and Blake had flashes early in their careers, nut they're very inconsitent performers, and they don't have the intelligence to beat top players. - Admittedly it was a shock that Novak messed up, but he doesn' thave a particularly brilliant overall game, it's just solid, and he came up aginst a man possessed in Safin.

With the ladies, the field is wide open and it's not a shock that Sharapova's out, or that Ivanovic was almost knocked out. The ladies are all very equal, and the onlt thing that the rankings show is level of consistency (Ana & Maria are very consistent), but if a lower ranked player plays to their potential on that day, it could quite easily cause an upset as we have already seen

not sure what to tell.. but every top player at one time or another faces a big upset loss.. its like a karma thing...

the bookies have their hands deep into the tennis world I don't think any of these are upsets when you consider they were told to lose the match
