Emmit Smith and now Brett Favre, whats the big deal. This is the norm

nowadays. Green Bay must start looking into the Future and get it started now. Seriuosly how much longer can Favre really play. A year

or three at most. What you think Aaron Rodgers will do, yep, go to free

agency market, now Green Bay has to gamble with another qb and hope that this qb pans out. Green Bay is obivuosly ready to get things started with Rodgers they are comfortable with him and believe he is their guy. By keeping Favre around will only push him out of Green Bay and therefore the Pack will one day lose not 1 qb but 2. So it was a smart move on GB part.
