Forget what Han says hes either a nationalist or someone pretending to be a Chinese nationalist.

The Chinese claim that Tibet is part of China from ca 1245 and it rather complex to talk about. However this what is solid is that Tibet has been part of China from 1951 then the PLA army marched into Tibet and force the leaders of Tibet to sign the 17 point agreement plus surrendering there land to China.

Some Tibetans on the other hand are not happy about this and what the Chinese do in there lands and want there land back.

I think the government bribed some monk officials and lamas to keep their protesters at bay for now.
