What is going on inside my mouth?

Whenever someone pulls out some cinnamon gum my tongue does this weird twitch sting then it waters up. I don't even smell the cinnamon. It also happens with other cinnamon products is there any scientific reason for this?

This happens to me if I really like the taste of the food. Even just thinking about it triggers it.

You probably just like cinnamon a lot and remember the flavor whenever you see it.

Sounds like youre allergic.

you're obviously allergic to cinnamon. if you have that kind of reaction, stay away from the stuff
