What is going on with Rey Mysterio?

I don't usually watch raw, but i do watch smackdown and i don't see any raw highlights of him? is he injured or something?

I don't know if you remember, but Kane has been freaking out and carrying a burlap bag around, and the new GM, Mike Adamle, told Kane to hand over the bag and tell them what was in it, he said " There is a mask in this bag, and the man who wore it has been tortured, beaten, and humiliated beyond belief, but, its not my mask. Its Rey Mysterio." Then last Raw, he said he personally didn't like Rey Mysterio, and he said he beat him up and injured him. He said Rey wasn't dead, but his spirit.

This is Sports Entertainment. Rey Mysterio is involved in a storyline where Kane has severely injured him and took Rey's Mask and has been carrying it around in bag. Rey must still be recovering from the injury that put him on the shelf several months ago, because Batista has been drawn into this storyline and apparantly, he will feud with Kane as well.
