What is going on with bear sterns?

I bought some bear sterns stock awhile ago and I have been keeping up with the prices going up and down but for about the last week now, the quote hasn't updated.. it is at 9.33 and the date on it is June 2. Did the company finally go under completely and I no longer have stock or what? Please let me know... Thanks

Your Bear Sterns shares no longer exist. They were converted to JPM shares 6/2/08.

The conversion rate was 0.21753 to one.

Go to the Yahoo Finance quotes and punch in JPM.  That will give you the information you seek.   Bear is part of Chase and you will be receiving JPM Chase shares based on the closing date of June 6, 2008 I think was the closing date. You will get paperwork or call your broker if you dont hear soon.

Bear Sterns(BCS) was bought by JP Morgon(JPM) for $10.00 a share.  I think you will get $10.00 cash for each share in your account soon.
