Question:

What is going on with my headaches

I am not sure if this is postpartum related (I had an epidural and the med had to be administered a 2 or 3 times ) becauses it kept wearing

off due to a slightly twisted spine.

I have only had a headache 3 times in my life before having my daughter3 wks ago....Now I get a headache that consumes my whole head, and I can feel it in my face as well.

These headaches or migraines can last up to 6hrs...with a general pain

the whole time and coming and going in severity. Music and my baby

crying seem to aggravate it.

I get them a couple times a week and they seem to be happening more often .

  1. Sounds like an epidural-related problem. Go to your GP or OB and get some migraine meds to help take the edge off. You could also try a little bit of caffine to help with the pain. If it is epidural-related the headaches will go away on their own in a few months.

  2. A migraine usually effects your eyes and causes nausea as well.

It doesn't sound like you're having a migraine.  But I do know someone who reacted the same way to the epidural, it's similar to an allergic reaction.  Talk to your doctor about it.
